With quarantines and lockdowns and concerns about food supply, people are talking more lately about simplicity and self-reliance. I was at the farm store today and every baby chick was gone. I barely got out of there with the feed I needed to feed my existing birds because stock was so low! And it looks like I won't be making homemade pizza this week because the three grocery stores I visited had no flour, and no yeast. But I digress...
